Lock screen FAQ

Is the lock screen generator free?

Yes — every Duckster gets 5 free lock screen generations per week. Creating a DuckyTrack account is free too.

Why put my cabin number on my phone lock screen?

Phones get misplaced on cruise ships all the time — by the pool, in the buffet, on deck chairs. A lock screen that says which cabin you are in lets any crew member or fellow passenger get your phone back to you fast, without unlocking it.

Do you store my generated lock screen?

No. Your image is generated on the fly and streamed straight to your phone — we never save your cabin number or your lock screen on our servers.

What is the Duckster Profile template?

It is a DuckyTrack-themed lock screen with a QR code that links to your public Duckster profile — anyone who scans it can see your ducks, miles, and finds. A fun way to share your flock at meetups and duck drops.

How do I set the image as my lock screen?

iPhone: long-press the generated image and choose "Save to Photos", then open Settings → Wallpaper → Choose a New Wallpaper. Android: tap Download, open the image in Photos/Gallery, then use "Set as wallpaper".
