Today we're thrilled to throw open the doors: DuckyTrack is officially live and free for everyone. What started as a simple idea — give a rubber duck a QR tag and watch where it travels — is now a full platform for taggers, finders, cruisers, and Jeep-duck communities around the world.

Here's everything you can do, starting right now.

🏷️ Make free QR duck tags

Head to the free tag generator and turn any rubber duck into a globe-trotting adventurer. Print tags on a regular home printer, peel-and-stick Avery sheets, or a thermal label maker — every tag gets a unique QR code and a human-typeable backup code. It's completely free.

🗺️ Follow every journey

When someone scans one of your ducks, their find is plotted on a live travel map and added to the duck's story — distance traveled, countries visited, and notes from finders. Watch it all roll in on the live feed.

🦆 Follow ducks & sign guestbooks

Found a duck you love? Follow it to get an email whenever it's found again. Scanned it yourself? Leave a message in its guestbook so the owner — and the next finder — can see you were there.

🏆 Earn points, levels & badges

Members ("Ducksters") earn points for releasing ducks, getting them scanned, leaving reviews, and inviting friends. Points raise your level and unlock more free tags each month. Track your progress on the achievements page and see who's on top of the leaderboards — including the most-traveled and most-followed ducks.

📱 New: the DuckyTrack app + Cruise Mode

DuckyTrack now installs as an app on your phone — the full site, in your pocket. The headline feature for travelers is Cruise Mode: a scan-only mode that works with no internet connection at all.
